Pearl Jam wrapped up their run of summer dates with an epic show Friday at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Seven songs in the warning came that there were thunderstorms in the area and the band was forced to leave the stage while the fans were cleared off the field. After close to three hours, the show resumed just before midnight. Singer Eddie Vedder, who is from Chicago, told the 40,000 on hand, “It's kind of like I've been waiting a lifetime for this one. Not only is this the crown jewel of Chicago, but the crown jewel of the whole planet earth."
The show featured three songs off their upcoming album, Lightning Bolt -- “Mind Your Manners,” "Future Days”
