More than 400 people across three Russian regions are injured after a meteor shower swept over the Ural Mountains.
The Russian Interior Ministry says hundreds were cut by flying glass. A ministry spokesman says at least three people are gravely injured. Russian state officials say at least six cities in three central regions of Russia have been hit by so-called "meteor rain."
They say some areas of neighboring Kazakhstan are also affected. It isn't clear yet whether the meteor storm was caused by one large meteorite or several smaller ones.
